What Does Etherium 2.0 mean for Hive?
POW will no longer mean the miner keeps the coin. A new system based on ownership of at least 30 coins will mean sharing in the profit of new E coins.
I have googled it and it's a bit fuzzy. I Assume since Hive hold so many coins they will make money.
The question is how much less money they will earn. I assume it will not be more than now.
I invested in Hive and I think it's a good short to medium term investment but this question needs to be answered . Hive do not a dress this on their website.
I think Ethereum has a bright future but if these rules change ..?.
These questions are things to discuss on forums, not to diss people who question things.
We need all info to decide on buying more.

great question. So hives last known etheruem inventory was 20k ETH. Assume they mine 20k/ quarter. Let's say pos goes live in September. Thats means 60k coins at rough guess 5000/ etheruem coin. Thats is 60000x5000= $300,000,000. The estimated ROI on stacking is 10% annual. This means hive would net 10% on 30M USD which is $3 million annual net profit.

here's you staking example. Hive would have to purchase back all that ethereum they sold at 75% the current price to earn a yield thats viable

I said 3 million net profits but its actually gross profit bc it doesn't include cost of overhead, salaries, etc

thanks for the correction. Irregardless. 10% gross margins is not a business model. Literally, drywaller have higher gross margins. Even my business has gross margins at 50-60%

Lol this guy can't even do simple math and he's trying to convince people that he's somewhat smart. Oh boy. Yea hive makes money thanks for clarifying.

coming from a guy who doesn't understand what an analogy is. Mine is an honest mistake @$$hole. 30Million is peanuts. At a 10 year multiple that puts hive's market cap at 300 million plus their bitcoin income. Thats roughly 5x lower then their current market cap. Massive posses coming here. But don't listen to me, stay here and lose big! Glta!

Go back to grade 6th math class first, preach after that. Too dumb for anyone to listen.
