Because they create fake buying walls and want to mislead inexperienced investors into taking their bait at big prices. You should never buy at the opening and wait a little while for them to remove their false buying walls and you see that the action goes down as usual.

The smart investor might put in a stink bid. If it fills, fine. If not grab a coffee cuz you already have lots anyway and your only looking to swing trade for cash.
