Huntsman Update
Dear Shareholders and Email Subscribers, I hope this email finds you all healthy and safe. I am reaching out to you because of our recent, important exploration success, and to share my thoughts on what to expect from Huntsman in the coming months. As a result of the funds we raised in Q4, 2020, Huntsman hit the ground running this year with a 16-hole drill program at Canegrass - our flagship, high-grade nickel sulphide project in Western Australia. Phase I of that drill program was completed earlier this month and I’m delighted to say that our confidence in the project has not been misplaced. Encouraged by our onsite analysis, significant amounts of diamond core and reverse circulation drilling samples have been sent to the lab, and we have paid for a number of holes to be “rushed”. In total, approximately 740 RC and Core samples will be sent for assay! Assay results are anticipated to arrive starting early March and throughout the month. Based on our confidence in these early results, we are already planning for phase II drilling, which we expect to commence in April. For this next phase, we have two targets – Sunline and Tulloch – located approximately 1.5 km’s apart along the predominant 7 km long sheer zone that runs through the property that will receive focused attention. Both targets produced excellent drill results in 2018 and were drilled in Phase I this year. Exploring the gap between Sunline and Tulloch has a high degree of potential for nickel sulphides based off of geophysical and surface anomalies, and connecting these targets would be an important milestone for us. Western Australia is one of the top mining jurisdictions in the world and one of only a few stable, pro-mining regions known for high-grade nickel sulphide deposits. It is also famous for projects that can move from discovery hole to production in a very short space of time. With Nickel inextricably bound to the unstoppable trend in electrification and battery technology, Huntsman is ideally positioned to develop this asset. With nickel’s core role as a battery metal, we believe our high-grade nickel sulphide project in Western Australia has all the advantages of timing and location. In our next update we will also start detailing aspects of exploration work we will undertake on our gold projects in Nevada and Idaho. Stay Tuned You can expect assay news over the coming weeks and also further drilling updates as we work to deliver on success at the expanding Canegrass discovery. With that in mind, I would encourage all of you to sign up to our website to receive updates and/or simply stay tuned for news as we develop these two exciting divisions of Huntsman Exploration Inc. I would also welcome the opportunity to discuss any of these projects or corporate activities directly and would welcome your getting in touch with me either by phone or email. Best of health, and kind regards, Peter Dickie President and CEO of Huntsman Exploration | | | |
