Why aren't insiders buying?

new to this so just a legit question sparked by others. Always see insiders selling, is there any instances of insiders buying lately. Why wouldn't they? If this is a unicorn which i believe it is, why aren't they buying though? Especially during a big month like December.

In my opinion, they aren't buying because their main form of compensation is already stocks. If you look at their financials, the salaries and employee benefits expense is extremely low, and there's a section dedicated to stock compensation. https://hpqsilicon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/HPQ-FS-092020.pdf

sorry, but this question cannot be answered... as an experiment, pull up the insider trading records for some of your favourite top performing stocks... many times, you will see very little insider activity -- buying or selling -- then what? and other times, you will see some, but that for any buying or selling they made, their timing was WAY OFF, they made terrible decisions, and their supposed ...more

Lets all consider this a time before a catalyst, because its pretty set in stone from previous NR... Now lets all imagine for a moment and lets say any insider held 90% of their yearly componsation in stock, options, warrants blah blah blah, if that said insider were to say bring capital into the company and was done so in an irregular fashion and right before a significant announcement he/she ...more

I have a quote for you from the past regarding insider selling as stated by Bernard. Hope that gives you some comfort.  From july 2020   Hi Secondtolast, Really not certain how to reply to your question: "Could you comment on the recent sale of shares by your director?" I did not know that HPQ directors were my property... HPQ directors are individual ...more

Insiders own an amazing 20.4 million shares of this company, so in my opinion they already own enough. As for recent insider selling, its a totally insignificant percentage of their total holdings, only 2% selling over the past year. In other words, negligible insider selling

HPQ is also well protected as over 54% are locked up plus other investors who would hold tight as well. Plus Purevap Nano is in essence owned 50% by PYR(10% Royalty will be converted at the right time that suits $PYR )     As per recent HPQ Corporate Presentation Shares(FD): MGT ~ 10.5% Pyrogenesis ~ 14% Quebec Govt 9% Strategic Investors 1.7% Key Investors 19.2% ...more
