HPQ and Apollon Solar Extend Agreement to Work on Porous Silicon for Batteries and Expand Collaboration to Include Hydrogen Production "Apollon was approached by the French government to develop a compact and portable hydrogen-based electricity generation system that must be reliable and efficient enough to charge military personnel batteries on missions. This work led to the creation of the Gennao H2
TM a self-contained system that integrates a fuel cell."
Now let's says French military adopts the system, and buys something like 5000 units. Suppose each of these units is bought with a supply of one bag a day of Powders, at 30g a bag (from Trekhy specs, 1 bag of 30g provides 30W of power for 1 hour). That is:
5000 Units x 365 days x 30 grams = 54 750 000 grams of powder/year
Now let's put a conservative price of 0.30$ a gram (30$ a Kg), that gives us 16Milions$ of sales a year only from 5000 Units out there which is pretty interesting.
That is not accounting for powder reserve they would need to keep, maybe twice the the amount used yearly? And what if other country adopts the system...
