So stock chart experts !

It has been mentioned many times that gaps always get filled. I am looking to add but currently we have a gap forming 8 to 10 cents premarket, Is this true gaps must be filled ? Advice requested !

DO OPENING GAPS FILL OR NOT FILL? After a gap occurs, a common occurrence is for the gap to get filled. This refers to price retracing back to the previous price action. Price does not have to stay within the gap range and close inside of it. Rather, it only needs to trade through the gap.
