Nano Silicon Price

What is a good number to use to calculate revenue?

Alibaba has a range of price from around $300 to $550USD depends on purity.  Last press release on the Fuel Cell generator suggest HPQ produce 4N powder.  I assume high purity will require 5N+, so we use $300/kg as a baseline.

Hence (assume 100% capacity at all time),
$300USD/KG
Gen1: 50KG/Month = $15,000USD or $165,000USD annually for 11Months (1 Month for annual inspection and maintenance)
Gen2: 500KG/Month = $150,000USD or $1,650,000USD annually

Without knowing the margin and final production capacity, it's hard to give a dollar figure on how much HPQ is worth.

Yes they should mention the price of the silicon produced . for panels i have a chinese price of only 10$ a kg . If thats true we need a plant and upscaled production to be profitable . specialty applications could get a much higher price i am sure . so what is the silicon produced worth ? Important question  but whatever the price hpq will make it

Didnt he mention that volume will take-off around $10-20kgs, which is in par for graphite, at this price Nano Silicon would easily replace it.....

I Love Berndard! He is fired up (Just needs his xmas sweater vest), keeps referring to 2015, as expected, the story continue to un-folds. Best Line Ever on some competition with Silane Gas - "Its soooo F***ing Expensive"  Appears they could have a moat around Nano-silicon. Even the Polysilicon Market may be coming back due to Bloombergs article on it and the need for Green ...more

I doubt he'll respond.  I will even though I know your question was rhetorical......yes your response to him is correct.

Ok so at 300$ first machine 50Kg/month, second machine at 500Kg/month, third at 5T/month ($16M/year/machine) and last at 200T/month ($640M/year). Not too bad.

I think given Generation 1 results, scalability as you gave Generation 2 numbers, you may add Generation 3 @ 4000:kg a month as well as Generation 4 (pilot plant) @ 200 metric tons a month. I did not calculate in the 67% increase from Generation 1 results. Also as Bernard intimated in the video earlier today, putting these reactors “:inside the fence” of the companies needing the nano silicon ...more
