Quick question

So here is a quick question a friend asked me this week when I recommended he look at buying some HPQ.

So HPQ's products are being made through PYR's Torches through a specefic process.....what is to prevent the Chinese or any other company from actually buying PYR torches and setting up their own processing facilty ??

And do not say Patents because we know the chinese do not seem to care about patents >

I don't think the process is as simple as buying a plasma torch and pointing it at some quartz lol.  There is alot of research and development (Time) put into figuring out the process (Which has been done all the while finding improvements and tweaking the process).  The Intellectual Property is not actually fully patented yet anyway, it's still going through the process I think, ...more

In a post quite a while back I expressed my concern about a certain foreign government which is notorious for hacking western hi-tech and disregarding patents. I suggested that HPQ ensure that it has all the right IT security protections in place to minimize the chance of a certain foreign government hacking into their systems and liberating all that immensely valuable information and then setting ...more
