Based upon this statement withing the article you posted... I should think not. The removal of all flammable liquids and gels in Solid Power's all-solid-state cell architecture also addresses many of the traditional challenges of silicon-rich anodes, providing good cycling stability and long calendar life without the need for expensive nanostructures.

I missed that. So if they are not using nano silicon particles. Then what kind of silicon are they using in the anode? They do say they are using a high silicon anode. Not sure what that silicon is if it is not nano silicon.

Firefly I'm not sure either. Total guess is that it seems like some kind of chemical process but I am not sure?
