Great AGM

Lot's of good discussion!! Lot's of questions!!

Yes it all sounds very positive.  They are going to start hitting the road promoting HPQ once they are vaccinated.  Then earnings should start in Q4.  And once the car companies come knocking they'll be ready with a very low-cost silicon product for batteries.

Once more, Bernard took a significant amount of time to assert that the real value in HPQ for shareholders is in the technology being developed and not so much in future production/sales of silicon nano particles. Of course, he can't say, "HPQ will be bought out" but the things he can say and did lead to the strong suggestion that he believes a buy-out to be very likely. He and the ...more

Great points Snowdogy, thanks for this.  Bernard and Team have done a great job (along with Peter and Team at PyroGenesis) in developing, building, and leading HPQ Silicon to where it is today.  And things are just getting started with HPQ Silicon (and PyroGenesis too)! We shareholders are in great hands, both HPQ and PYR are solid companies, with patented technology, and led by stellar ...more

Good point patience123 but that's what patents and patent law are for I suppose. However on the flip side, the fact that something is "protected" by a patent often doesn't matter as its only paper. Try going after companies in certain jurisdictions which do not respect the rule of law.  Again, good point.

China makes lots of batteries..... We buy lots of chinese batteries..... Who here asks if the chinese batteries are made with respect to patent law before they uy them at half the cost? We are talking about a patent process for making a commodity... Once it is a commodity, and also a high volume and readily available commodity, it is unlikely to be tracked by consumer to the source in any ...more

They did skip some questions that some people asked but yes it was good. Pyr was really put on the hotseat about the takeover. But looks like they is not in the cards anytime soon. production 2022/2023. Going to be a long year. So should be chilling at .80's for a while.
