Ferroglobe is silicon metal provider for nbm

Quote from bajabeacher
On nbm board

ferroglobe's process for making their silicon metal is anything but Green. High heat Fossil fuel burners, very bad for the environment and the process to make powders with chemicals is just as bad for the environment..

so. How green is hpq s process .
Are silicon reactors only consuming electricity or are there other sources of co2 emissions they generate .

Yes Ferroglobe and others such as Siemens processes are heavily bad in regards GHG emissions in addition to toxic chemicals used in their production.  Whereas Purevap QRR reactor heat source is plasma torches application via electricity.  Long and strong HPQ
