@Beachbum1 Just my musings but does anyone realize how big it is to produce fumed silica from your own feedstock of silicon metal? QRR reactor is like turning lead into gold...sort of...

If you have five minutes, Google up production of fumed silica. It is dirty beach bum is right -production of fumed silica (one step) could be more than disruptive.And the fact that fumes silica is iin so many products that are every day  Many moons ago Hpq striving for quartz to 5n for solar panels was the go.This is a twist that could quickly turn a lot of heads GLTA
