HPQ/PYR tech will dominate many industries

Newsflash..there is virtually no competition for Purevap QRR and NSiR as they are about to show the world   from cheap quartz to high value 2-4N Si in 1 STEP w ZERO CARBON emissions.

Fumed Silica industry starts w 2N Si... QRR will start from cheap quartz!

NOTE PYR tech/verticals :  Nexgen will be game changer upgrade from their OLD PYR tech that AP & C Titanium powders that GE now owns...production rate, uniforminity , density etc etc

Drosrite , Torches , Waste Destruction , Spent Pot lining etc.... HUGE competitive advantage also GHG friendly.

HPQ is in very good hands w their partnership with PYR.

Long and strong HPQ!!!!!!!

Will summarize in more depth over the weekend...just wanted to post something as the FUDsters try to dominate...especially the PYR board but they are here too.  Long and strong HPQ!!!!!!!!

do you know if they have a patent on the fumed Silica process
Comment by KrapShoet on Aug 26, 2023 9:00am
Yes I know.

Below is the only one that shows up under the HPQ name at the USPTO. Not sure who you mean by "they" but there could be something under someone else's name. Invention title/Inventor SILICA TO HIGH PURITY SILICON PRODUCTION PROCESS Ali SHAHVERDI, Pierre CARABIN Patent 11267714 Mar 8, 2022 Publication 20180237306 ...more

A fumed silica patent shows up but it is assigned to a German outfit?? Is there a connection? Assignee WACKER CHEMIE AG HANNS-SEIDEL-PLATZ 4 MUNICH 81737 GERMANY Invention title/Inventor PROCESS FOR PRODUCING FUMED SILICA Marcel SALAMON Patent 11434139 Sep 6, 2022 Publication 20210155488 May 27, 2021 ...more

Two articles re fumed silica. Both mention Wacker and Cabot, neither mention a relationship between PYR or HPQ with Wacker who has the patent on fumed silica that I could find: https://menafn.com/1106001492/Fumed-Silica-Market-Growth-With-A-CAGR-Of-66-Size-Share-Trends-And-Forecast-2022-2032 https://www.reportsanddata.com/report-detail/nano-silica-market If nothing else I guess it is a weekend ...more

kraepshoot says he knows so maybe he can elaborate!
Comment by Renaissance on Aug 26, 2023 11:24am
The patent in your previous post relates to QRR not fumed silica. The one in you second post relates to a technology using silane gas.  And is not related to HPQ or it's technology. This link here patent application is owned by HPQ and it relates to plasma arc process and apparatus for the production of fumed silica

That is a Canadian/International application and publication number, which does not show up under the USPTO at this time -- at least with my limited skills. At least it connects HPQ/PYR to their own patent as opposed to the German one but the German one is on the USPTO so when the second one goes there the examiner will be all over there being conflicts, possibly, i.e. delays. I guess they don' ...more

I do not see any conflicts between the two patents, the German one uses silicon as raw material and silane gas.  The HPQ patent uses silica as raw material and no silane gas.

Seems simple enough but if and when they apply to the USPTO we will see what an examiner thinks. :-))

Just for review for those of us that are not always that technically cognizant of the two terms:   July 20, 2011 Posted by Madhu     The key difference between silicon and silica is that silicon is a chemical element whereas silica is a chemical compound. Silica is a common oxide form of silicon. Silicon is commercially prepared using silica in an electric arc ...more

And here is a copy of the HPQ Silicon description from the top of the page. You can see the reference to 'quartz' as being SiO2 (silica) as referenced in the previous descriptive post. Also it is the finished product 'Silicon' that is the semi-conductor whereas silica in the raw does not conduct electricity. "HPQ Silicon Inc. is a Canada-based silicon solutions company. The ...more

And then you ask "Why "Fumed Silica" as opposed to "pure silicon". I will leave that to the experts on here to explain what the HPQ Silicon plan is looking forward -- I don't really know myself. Here is a review of "Fumed Silica" from the net: What Is Silica?: Fumed Silica and Precipitated Silica   December 9, 2021 by VanHornMetz 2 ...more

Absolutely.  Thanks for posting Renaisance ...always enjoy your posts.    Long and strong HPQ!!!!!!!!!!!

So now, after all that, in summary, HPQ is involved in two main processes: 1) "HPQ is engaged in developing the PUREVAPTM Quartz Reduction Reactors, which can permit the one-step transformation of quartz (SiO2) into high-purity silicon (Si) . It is developing the PUREVAPTM Nano Silicon Reactor (NSiR) through its subsidiary, HPQ NANO Silicon Powders Inc. NSiR is a process that can use ...more

Sounds great Pandora.  Just watching a movie now so I will try tomorrow.  I try to post in clips so I can be ready to refute false misleading FUD and also don't want FUDsters to dominate the board whic they often do in trading hours full time job for them.   Deep apologies nonetheless.  I have a brief summary I can post now of key pts :) .  Long and strong ...more
