Collateral damage

What you're seeing is the fallout from PyroGenesis' woes.

Pyr is now facing very serious headwinds, and has no cash, and will never find another underwriter.

But they still have about 20 million shares of HPQ, ( probably less by now )

I've been talking about this for months.

Now it's happening before your eyes.

I have shares in HPQ and had in PYR but knew nothing about the legal situation with the AMF and Peter's father's old company.  I have tried to look through the Pyr stockhouse bullboard to find out about this, but there are too many posts and most of them are, rather, well, heated and not very infomative.  So Taramacktop, since you seem to have been there when this all went down ...more

PYR will never find another underwriter!???  FALSE   PYR has NEVER failed to meet their financial obligations.  In fact 6-7 years ago when I first looked at PYR their financials were MUCH worse ...but their tech / engineering were incredible with massive upside.  STOP YOUR MISLEADING FUD.  Long and strong HPQ!

Meanwhile...Now think about this...WHY would Peter make those type of comments knowing AMF woud read it.  Of course his lawyers MUST have approved that NR and more importantly those bold comments. . HE ABSOLUTELY MUST BE CONFIDENT AND KNOWS SOMETHING WE DON'T.   It is NOT out of the realm of probablities that there is a witch hunt where the regulator has tunnel vision ONLY to ...more

20 million shares, close to 5% of hpq.  $5 million bucks gets you 5%.  Chump change for Panasonic or Tesla.  Or the competition stareing at hpq tech and how much business could be impacted.  Doesn't pyr have royalty interest in one of hpq's subsidiaries?  That could be worth more than a bit.

Indeed PYR owns about 8% fully diluted of HPQ. PYR gets 10% royalty of the sales from Purevap NSiR, 10% royalty for HPQ Polvere (fumed silica) and 10% royalty of Purevap QRR . Only the 10% royalty of Purevap NSiR and 10% royalty for HPQ Polvere (fumed silica) can be converted at anytime to 50% equity ownership of that JV. BUT important note: Purevap QRR is solely owned by HPQ with no option to ...more

Just QRR alone makes it the most valuable part of what is going on:  Cheap feedstock  to convert quartz to 1. 2N Si for silicon and polysilicon  2. 3N EV Batteries 3. 4N for Silicon Nitrate More efficient and lower capex and opex plus GHG emissions reduction friendly etc etc.  Long and strong HPQ!!!!!!!!!

September 5th. Now it's happening before your eyes in a BIG way. Pyrogenesis is in real trouble.  The stock is making 3 1/2 year lows. They have no cash, and negative working capital.  This is collateral damage. Absolutely no question.  This company's management somehow has to get the message out that this company's fortunes aren't entirely reliant on ...more
