Answer by Bernard Tourillon on Agoracom

Hi Matthew,

Please understand that the nature of this discussion board limits what I can say.

While you state that a lot of you were expecting results at 300+ cycles.

In our case, we were surprised by the results we attained with our first-generation batterie made with our first iteration of the material.

As a matter of fact, at the start, we did not think we would need to do more than 100 cycle tests with our first-generation material to attain the goal of the test.

Please remember that we were not testing our final iteration of the material, but our first. Think Space X, they don't expect their rockets to perform perfectly on the first test, but they seek to learn as much as possible with each test.

Furthermore, since the tests are done by an outside laboratory, it is not abnormal that delays will occur in receiving and analyzing the data, especially when we ask for an extension to the number of cycles of tests to be done, and this is what happened this time around.

Now while I could elaborate more on the subject, I will cover that more in a subsequent release.

Regards

Bernard Tourillon

Not much of an explanation.  The moral of the story is that one should not develop expectations based on the past.  50 cycles were done in a week before, but this time it took almost a month to get 25 done.  And you can't use any of this to try to figure out when the next reporting will be done.  That's the bottom line IMO.

But still a whole lot of bashing on your part. LOL

My apologies.  Seems like I missed the response.  Could you point it out to me?  Thanks.

It 's quite clear that you do not understand it. Try to comprehend and read the message/the answer of Bernard again.

Yeah, good luck with that.  He posts stuff but doesn't understand what he is posting.  And BT caters to the likes of him by using SpaceX as an analogy. i tried to make the point that based on delays that can happen anywhere, there is no point of trying to predict timing.  But he called this simple truth bashing.  That's his MO, requires no thinking.

Come on Mostly, you can do it! What is the most interesting part of Bernards answer? He's feeding you with a spoon ... you just have to swallow.

Lol! I look at what's on the spoon before I put it in my mouth. Now we are starting to appreciate each other's differences. The next news release....not that there was any doubt that there will be more news releases.
