I think BT would tell you that it is not "obvious" "to build multiple 50 tpy plants" and I think he used a particular acronym for this kind of thought. Simply speaking, a 50 tpy plant at $6,000 per ton generates $300,000 in revenues.  If that doesn't turn on the light bulb, think about the cost of materials, the capital cost of the plant that needs to be recoverd, the

I think he is saying that you need money to build plants.  And when you don't have any you have to find it.  If you have some kind of an offtake agreement (look up the general definition) based on future delivery of certain product amounts, etc, then you have something to present to potential financiers. My point exactly...but contracts wont be signed until these technologies are a "PROVEN" threat to the targeted busnises. If they have it then show your shareholders a contract if you dont have it well then it is what it is.

Pandora,  Gallium in this scenario is used in conjunction with Silicon in integrated circuits. It is not a replacement for Silicon.  What they are using it for is the doping agent for the P/N junction in transistors and the Gate to Scource and Gate to Drain junction in MOSFETS.  Apparently it has 10 times the switching speed of the same transistors and Mosfets using standard doping

Your welcome Pandora.  Well it is a legitimate  concern one which is being addressed nationally.  I would comment on it further but unfortunately i'm not knowlegeable enough on the subject to really get in to it.  There are some accountants here though and they they know everything so i will leave it to them.  LOL!
