50 cycles. BT will explain in the 30-ish minute Agoracom video.  There will be "gotta ask" about timelines and incoming calls including any tidbits on FSR.  You know the drill. A couple of videos not-long-ago BT mentioned how news flow will slow down due to the vacation season in Europe.  Maybe they are so excited about how things are going that they decided to pass on ...more

Recycling of old news is like preparing for the exam. Reread the old news while everyone is relaxing on the beaches of France. Not in Lyon ; they have no beaches Bernard has to look busy and has to find a new angle which will be combinedwith the Agoracom enthoiusiasm will  have the world marvelling at the summer exploit while doing nothing. 30-ish minute video posted as expected. Can only say so much new about this. As one sees, there is positive progress, work will continue on getting to the most optimized version at a time, but no surprise that as an R&D company, eventually hopefully manufacturing material, you cannot stop development because nobody that wants to remain competitive does. The "top tier producer" ...more

I should also add that there is the repeated theme of how transparent HPQ is with its information compared to other companies which may be just making claims that are not backed up by presented data.  And in a separate discussion he says he will not divulge his business plan publicly to be copied. A couple of thoughts.  From what I have read, many companies developing new   ...more

The way I see it right now based on only two factors - capacity and rate of degradation - these materials beat 100% graphite for applications requiring up to 150 cycles.  Degradation seems to have reached the edge of the cliff and we don't know what would happen at around 200 cycles, for example.   There are probably a bunch of other parts to the whole story that are unknown.   ...more

Where does it end -- Gen5, Gen10, Gen20? Give us some indication of the end goal.

It's coming soon!  Buy yourself some shares while they are still cheap!

When tweaks don't result in any meaningful improvement. They will only know after each tweak. But as far as we know, those are only for the two parameters they are reporting. There is a lot more to batteries than that though.

Some great posts from ceo on today's NR: @ordos This is excellent progress and solidifies the Gen3 performance. I trust that HPQ Silicon and Novacium know exactly what they are doing and have a plan to commercialize this. @ordos The well marketed and popularized Sila Nanotechnologies claim this on their website "Titan Silicon delivers a 20% energy density boost over the ...more
