But isn't this article just talking about everything that the company is saying? I would really like to hear from someone that knows the battery business to get an appreciation why the stock is where it is at with the information provided so far namely only the capacity and rate of degradation. Hard to understand why everyone making phone calls supposedly wanting a piece of the action is not ...more

Depending on battery, degradtion at 1500 hundred cycles is 1 to 3 percent per year. HPQ has nothing new in the bateery market .Actually not even on par wih many manufacturers..all fluff

Google this and you will get tons of articles including research articles. One problem with measuring battery degradation is that there are no real standards of how to measure it.  Things that impact battery degradation include environmental conditions, how much you discharge before recharging, how much you recharge, how quickly you recharge, how quickly you discharge it, etc, etc. An article ...more
