Spruce Pines, North Carolina, A small town of about 2000 but supposedly is one of the suppliers of the best quality quartz in the world -- and Hurricane Helene has apparently shut it down for now -- and for how long? On the news they are saying it will have a significant effect on many products such as electronic chips, etc.
