HPQ Materials revisited
Saw an interesting post a page or so ago that I wanted to chase down. HPQ materials does seem to mean High Purity Quartz, and googling the term brings up
https://ultrahpq.com/ (Australia)
https://sinosi.com/ (China)
https://www.sibelco.com/en (Belgium)
https://greentechminerals.com.au/ (Australia)
https://vytas.com.au/ (Australia)
https://www.anzaplan.com/company/ (Germany)
https://www.vem-co.com/products (China)
Not saying these companies are better\worse etc...they are simply in the "HPQ" space.

Also in the news today. Spruce Pines, North Carolina, A small town of about 2000 but supposedly is one of the suppliers of the best quality quartz in the world -- and Hurricane Helene has apparently shut it down for now -- and for how long? On the news they are saying it will have a significant effect on many products such as electronic chips, etc.
