Will PYD ever entertain - Slot Machine Routes ?

Got to thinking -

I remember PYD stating awhile back -  they wanted to get into - Route Slot Machine operartions -Louisiana - truck stop - restaurants - and i was thniking - would it be far more profitabe -  than when compared to casinos and  floor lease space and competing for the attention of consumers - while vying amongst the competitors slot placements ?

I wonder what the   $$$$$   profit would be be - if one were to do the  $$$$$  comparables -
Route operations @t small venues @ hotels @ restaurants etc.... VS  Casinos?

Would it be just a straight percentage give and take when dealing with restaurants or hotels ?  And when one compares the exuberant floor lease costs all up front and placing machines along side competitors - in casinos-  i would love to see the stats on that....

Perhaps route operations would prove more profitable ? Who knows -

But it sounds appealing - weighing the comparables - and suppose the restaurant or hotel - has a high turn over of BUSINESS CLIENTS - OvVER NIGHT CLIENTS - DRAW FROM NEARBY COMMUNITY GOOD POPULATION - it sure sounds good - and i'd be happy if pyd entertained this - type of placement -

I could easily - see a ball room or banquette hall converted - into a sizable casino filled with slots - simply - convincing the hotel with a simple question and survey - how much do you earn in hall rentals ?  VS  - how much they could make if converted to small casino - with 100 - 200 slots ?  I'd rather pyd do this - than pay big floor leases- which cuts into the revenues -

Why doesn't PYD target Hotels?

Ya never know - there just maybe a few out there - that would consider converting some of their floor space ( ball room ) which has little attention or can't turn a prfit in rentals - or that goes unused - the only obstacle would be the licensing -

I've even seen golf and country clubs convert or add a casino to thier establishment - theres another idea - but i think hotels would be far better - higher turn over of consumer traffic - capitolizing on the consumer whose bord at night - looking to pass the time - and have some fun - imagine a hotel with only pyd's slots ?????  Their SLOTS would have no competition - they'd get all the attention  vs  placing in a casino amongst other competitors - the trick would be to secure the right establishement that has a ton of turn over with clients - throw some live entertainment at the hotel - a few food venues  -and boom - rock the night away.
Target marketing at its best  !

Maybe pyd will bring this idea to fruition - after al lit was their original business plan -  they should at try it out - to avert the high flooe lease costs - sink 250k on some second slots - place 100 machines - and give it a whirl - set a temporary contract based on performance - have a back up establishment -  just incase - to pull the slots and re restablish elsewhere - if the restaurant or hotel has limited reception - sometimes small is better - smaller can sometimes outperforms bigger - .smart business moves.....

Cheers !

Horrible idea. Casinos are having a hard enough time getting people to gamble in actual casinos. Random banquet halls will be way harder to attract customers. And hotels actually make good money from those empty event halls. That's because when they are empty, you can rent it out. If they are full with slots, then they can't even earn money from hosting events. Wango, you can't just ...more
