There are two very prolific diamond mines in Canada at present: Ekati (found by Chuck Fipke) and Diavik (owned by Aber). They are near each other, as shown on the following map (both on the shores of Lac de Gras): There was a close staking rush happening at the time Chuck was frantically picking up as many claims as he possibly could, after having found the huge quantities of indicator ...more
