Keep your cool. News is coming soon.

Guys, do not panic out of your positions down here. Yes I know it has been a volatile ride so far with more downs than ups, but the basic story is unfolding, albeit a bit slower than some of you would like. If I had a pound for every delay in a stock's news timetable, I would be a rich man by now! That's the nature of the game: initial rosy expectations by management, often under pressure to say something by short-term oriented shareholders, get missed, leading to disappoiuntment, frustration, name calling, and share dumping. We've all been there before, haven't we?

I'm not saying I know when the next news is coming, but there will be news pretty soon. Iciena seems to produce PR on a monthly basis. Isn't that enough for now, until the drilling commences? This story really holds merit once the driling gets analysed in the lab and we have diamondiferous kimberlites or not. I can wait until that news release, and accept the market's volatility based on ignorance in the meantime.

The fact is that the weather hasn't been conducive to an early start, in April, as had been hoped. Plus it takes time to plan the logistics of drilling crew assembly, drill procurement, site levelling, and most importantly, exact site locations to be drilled. We are talking many thousands of hectares of raw land here. This is not an easy matter of just letting a drill go in the vicinity and Bob's Your Uncle! Iciena has finite financial resources and I for one am very grateful that management led by Chuck Fipke is taking its time to come up with the correct operational plan.

Then, and only then, will the fun begin!

Agree completely, now is the time to accumulate with sp at the bottom. I have.Chuck Fipke will find those diamonds, he's a blood hound. Rewards will come to the patient investor.

jcja, i hope that means we are one year closer to finding diamonds. I wasn't here a year ago, just started buying in March 2008, but i like the idea that Chuck Fipke is leading exploration efforts. It makes me feel more confident about my investment. I hope positive results come soon, but I appreciate it takes time and that news releases are sporadic.good luck to everyone.
