Drill moving

10 kms west to new site. My gut tells me they have a good idea where to sink it.

Jedi, if they hit kimberlite 10 kms west of Kelvin and Faraday, watch out!

!0 kms west of the Faraday/Kelvin trend places the new drilling location in the western area of Kennady Diamonds lease area right below the Margaret Lake Diamonds lease area. I just realized this when I examined the map of the lease areas. Jedi, where did you read that the new location will be 10 kms west of Kelvin/Faraday?

DC I think if memory serves that in a recent PR it was stated that they were taking one on the drills west to commence drilling at a target they have. As to the distance I might be incorrect.. But the drill was moving west.

Jedi, thanks for the info. The distance does not have to be exact. What I find so interesting is that if Kennady Diamonds hits diamond bearing kimberlite at this new west drilling location, it would make the southern part of the Margaret Lake Diamonds lease very prospective!

The real action over the next 18-24 months will be KDI and mpv. DIA will be a bit player. Might hit, might not. We know where we are going.

I think we can both agree that the west drilling location is very important!

Let's assume KDI finds two or three or even more areas where they prove up more diamondiferous  kimberlite. With each new discovery tonnage goes up. Simply means the value of KDI heads north. My guess is that with every new find the pressure on DeBeers increases to take out both mpv and KDI . This area could prove up to be the best diamond area in Canada. DeBeers would make a HUGE mistake ...more

Jedi, let's see if the Canadian Shield still has room for some additional large diamond deposits!

DenvCol1 -- I like KDI and I really like MPV.    But I also am big on the potential reward DIA (Margaret Lake Diamonds) offers.    A new discovery by them could have the share price go up 10 fold.   Good to own some... Margaret Lake potential ?  Paint your wagon if you think so.   https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard/v.ggl/ggl-resources-corp?postid=22524868 Be careful; there's a lot that's already known up there and Margarert Lake looks like another GGL without the nickel.  As if nickel ever mattered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTymtAbaG08

You're right Whiteirish.  DIA brings back memories of GGL a couple of years back.  Several MPV posters were comparing GGL to MPV and gathering up its shares. Without mentioning any names, I've noticed most who favoured GGL over MPV slowly disappeared from the MPV Board, and from SH in general. DIA brings back memories also of the 70s, 80s and 90s on the VSE when a a discovery ...more

If Kennady Diamonds hits kimberlite in the new western location, it will certainly create some interest in the area, including the southern portion of the Margaret Lake lease area. However, Brit and Whiteirish are right. Drilling of geophysical anomalies and identification of kimberlite on Margaret Lake land itself will be required to prove up that area. Let's see what the airborne geophysics ...more
