Oiltar when l read youre blogs that are presenteded on a proffesional side,l realise you are a well educated man who understands the buisseness quite well. You express youre opinions with fact and straight forward answers. Thats great You are correct Freidland does nor require anyones capital to build a mine.Have you considered the immense differences in working in the NWT with climate and wind access ect ,shipping costs living costs ect as compared to bBaffin lsland . l think you would be surprised to the cost increses as well as the unruly climate that dominates that area for 10 monthes of the year. l would be interested to hear youre feed back on those aspects versuses the Nwt and you are correct in the valuation dept the numbers have to be there.Holding Kdi for the long run THE KAKUNDA

Well there is no question about it Chidliak is in a hostile climat.But the new deep water port funding came as a result of the both governments seeing the need to advance the Chidliak mine with a view to create employment.So the company thinks it will help lower costs.There is no water retention dykes needed at Chidliak like Lac de Grass.Those dykes are very costly to build.The rich ore values ...more

Oil man - you've been gulping down the PGD cool-aid and must be on a sugar high. Speed limit on a dirt road would be 50kms/hr. It would take the workers over 5 hours to get to and from work - and that's if the fog has not closed the road. If you're long PGD you should know that an ice road is not viable. What the oilman knows is that he is stuck big time and is trying everything and anything to try to get back a few dollars. BHP and DeBeers are not stupid. Best deal is still KDI but I am prejudiced .

BHP walked away from Diamonds...just like it did Gold as well. If it didn't walk away from either...it would be a key player in Nunavut with a 100% interest in Hope Bay and a 58% interest Chidliak. Kind of ironic (nice pun eh?) that they had and still have zero interest in Mary River. De Beers is a tangled mess caught between Anglo and Alrosa.....there are too many reasons to guess as to ...more
