Copper prices here are doomed!

LOL>  I mean they are DOOMED too stay this low! Goin too explode higher in the near term, and the next 5 yrs or more. Or until aluminum takes back some of the market share, or a mixed combination of the 2 metals if that works.

In Peru we have Pedro Castillo leading the way now, who wants too :

Castillo, an elementary school teacher seeking to implement new taxes and royalties on the mining sector, obtained 44.8% support in the survey of the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP), while Fujimori, a business-friendly conservative, netted 34.4%.

Castillo, who stormed into the run-off with Fujimori following a win in a shock first-round election, has strong support among Peru´s largely poor, interior rural communities. Marketwatchers, however, view his candidacy as a potential threat to industry in the world´s No.2 copper producer.

https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/leftist-castillo-builds-lead-over-fujimori-ahead-peru-presidential-vote-poll-2021-05-23/

Peru is the worlds 2nd largest producer of COPPER.

Now too CHILEAN NEWS:

A thing called the GLACIER BILL.

https://www.mining.com/web/chiles-codelco-says-40-of-its-copper-output-at-risk-if-glacier-bill-passes-media/

Man if these 2 news events happen it will spike COPPER REAL FREAKIN FAST.

It would in essence spike COPPER PRICES AND even cause copper nationalism in the US and Canada etc. a slim possibility?

Each consumer nation protecting its own reserves.???

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_copper_production

Chile and Peru account for 49% of the worlds copper output.

Canada is ranked 11th.

Peru has their elections on June 6th me thinks.

We should get results around 3rd week of June.

So with all that I just gotta say
