Something rotten in Denmark?

This has all the smells of Gov't corruption and them attempting to do anything to remove this little Canadian company from this valuable mineral asset. My guess is that a few greedy & corrupt Namibian Gov't officials probably demanded steep kickbacks from DSM mgmt in exchange for them to continue holding the lease and advancing the project. It seems that DSM didn't want to play ball and the Namibian Gov't started inventing all types of legal jargon to kick the Candians out. This is why assets in this part of the world trade at a DEEPdiscount AND no one want to do business there except the Chinese. Like Trump said, a total sh*thole and he wasnt wrong.

DSM only has two options here or possible paths to take. Either play hardball, sue their a$$ and start to expose ALL the corruption by bringing the matter to the international courts to be settled there OR play along, try to renegotiate which probably includes some major concessions to the Gov't. I wouldn't be surprised if they demanded DSM hand over a hefty interest in this project for free.

Let's see where this goes...........

Good luck & God speed

mrmomo, your comments about sh*thole countries are out of line, unless you are aiming to be Trump's successor. Let me know if you need help to find the daily news stories about corruption, fraud and theft in Canada, starting with the securities industry.

"mrmomo, your comments about sh*thole countries are out of line, unless you are aiming to be Trump's successor." There's always some nutty SJW hiding somewhere waiting to come out of the woodwork and give their worthless 2 cents. And you Mr. Tree2tree fit the bill perfectly. My comments might seem outline for some crazy SJW like you but not a seasoned logical person who knows ...more

So then momo came out with another post and laid out his overtly racist opinions for all to see.  Fortunately SH deleted that post just as I was making a complaint.

Tree2 To indicate Canada is just as corrupt as Namibia is just a stupid statement.  Canada typically ranks in the top 12 in the world and if you discount Quebec we would probably be number 1 lol!  Before you call me a racist my family are all from Quebec!  Namibia on the other hand statistically shows about 1 in every 10 transaction involving the goverment includes a bribe ...more
