From Vancouver to Mexico is too far by bike/car/truck....but the Slocan mining camp can be reached easily.  am i getting mixed up with the Silver mine called Klondike--but they  are no where near the Yukon...its easier to stay home and pay the penny stocks, and save gas. i find Vancouvewr is still the mining board-room capitasl of BC
