Different exchanges, TSXV, TSXA, others?

Hi MW,

I became curious about some of these exchanges. It appears to me that some of my orders get filled on TSXV and others are filled on TSXA, on the same day.

I checked out the online explanations. I'm still a little confused and I don't know if it matters or if I want to spend much more time in investigation.

Do you understand these?

Do you have a laman's explanation?

Hi cleareye. In general, having your order filled on a different exchange means nothing. They're available because, well, they're available. Just another " company " that's in the business of stock market trading. I personally would'nt open up a trading account with these " other " exchanges. Why people do, I don't know.
