OEM's are desperate for supply
I just watched a Curx Investor video on youtube of Ioneer. Ioneer has a market cap of slightly over $1 billon and there project is not as good as Cypress. A 20K annual production vs 27k-30k. Mine life of 26 yrs. vs 40+. Environmental issues vs no environmental issues. All around Cypress is better IMO.
The interview talked about the recent 5 yr binding offtake Ioneer signed with Ford. The bombshell was not the agreement but what it was for. The agreement was to supply technical grade lithium. Not a battery grade. I was like WTF. Ford is so desperate they are doing offtakes for product that needs further processing.
C'mon Cypress get this damn proof of battery grade lithium done. Just another clear cut case of what this project can become. How can this not skyrocket to a double digit shareprice?

What are you smoking? Ioneer is nowhere near production. They have one asset in Nevad that has yet to have the Final Investment Decision made on it. Has a pending court case against it as well as not fully permitted. Construction hasn't even started. You better do some homework.

Great Note AtoZsports, Ioneer has serious issues even with the maybe silly environmental part, the buck wheat. Fact is their ore body dips, it is not flat. This means they can start ok and then go bankrupt when the highwall gets going. Waste of capital to put this resource into production as it is geometriacally challeged. It dips. No go. Bob

I've also wondered for a long time what keeps Cypress SP down. On the end I think it's a combination of the fact that they are still far from production and the huge cost of building an eventual plant! I wish I had selected PMET or LAKE ressources instead when I jumped back in.

At the end of the day, Ioneer is a 1 Billion USD stock, regardless of the buckwheat and ore issues.

Also Ioneer sold 50% stake for $500M, and they only own 50% of the project! tiger

And they're valued at 2x what they sold their stake for. Bill has also mentioned on webinar to look at this as an example of something CYP may consider in terms of JV structure. My point was - other companies are getting fantastic valuations even with all of their problems. We can poke fun at other projects but at the end of the day, those investors are making the gains.

When you say no rush, how many years do you think we have to wait ? You said I hope he takes his time, well you got your wish. If this is so good why are we not on a better exchange yet?

The feasibility study is nearly done. That will result in a re-rating and a higher stock price. It's a major milestone. That in turn leads to being on a bigger exchange. It takes years in mining...all mining. You can't fast track things. Be patient...it will come

So when do we gain a better stock exchange and able to margin the stock?

When retail moves the stock. Institutions won't buy because no financings needed. Hope is the strategy.
