Recent price rise?

Hello all! New to investing in general, but I've been following this company for a few years and they seem to have incredible potential. Can anyone explain to me the reasons behind the recent price increases? Is it entirely related to the name change, or are there other factors at play? I don't want to clog up this board with investing 101 advice, just curious if anyone can give me a plain language explanation. Thanks in advance!

JMO.  LCE is the most advanced clay developer in NV, after LAC & Ioneer, & it's in the DFS. Comparing it with others, it's way under valued. The recent rebounce is more reflected with it's value, rather than name change. Certainly, the name change changes market sentment and should have been done 1 year ago, rather than dragging it. tiger

The public is funny sometimes. The name change probably did spur some interest although it has zero to do with the actual value in the company. The SP has been knocked down by the Fed raising rates and the tax loss selling this year was brutal. All the happier it made me. I took advantage of all of it to get more shares than I ever could have on my limited budget. The company made probably its

Oh,ya absolutely AtoZ I would like nothing more than Albermarle to take us out,and with their Market Cap they could do it easily. They are at the moment the only Lithium producer in North America, I have no doubt that they would rather see themselves producing Lithium from Clays than have competitors in they're back yard. Hopefully Yonker ,Disher and Cassandra Joesph are working hard behind

The combo is just too good not to happen. That usually means it won't. . It will all come down to price of course. I have a number in mind that will get my shares and I will not vote yes for a penny less. Hopefully shares are in strong hands. The whole Clayton Valley is there for the consolidation. It could be one of the best areas in the entire world if done correctly.. I just don't see

Your analysis makes some very valued points.  I just hope that our SP rises before anyone offers to buy us at this "unrealistic" cheap valuation. It would be an "absolute steal" (even with a 100% premium to todays price).
