comes to 10200$. Hardly seems like he would need so little cash. Could it be he moved the shares sideways or gave them to a family member?

"Could it be he moved the shares sideways or gave them to a family member?"No.  He sold them in the public markets.  Either way, an insignificant amout, but it comes at a time of weakness and seeing how much he holds, over 5 million shares, you would think he could've held off, but it happened so can't do anything about that now.  atb  ...more

You know what that David Lyall sale was? $10 says it was a margin call. Market is getting hit pretty badly so, just like everyone else he gets the call, and is forced to liquidate something because he's now overleveraged (Maybe his portfolio manager even did it for him). A combination of market volatility, light volume and summer doldrums.Insider selling of this magnitude is not significant.In any event, there is no statistical correlation between insider selling and subsequent share price.Afterall, there are many reasons why one must sell ( holidays, divorce, estate transfers etc ) but none in which one must buy.Most staff are on their summer holidays.I remain ...more
