I think it all depend on the market value of the  two companies at the time they finally decide to merge or takeover of lfd by vst.VST will be lot higher if they hit oil in next  1-3 months.

Looks like where it sits now , why would it change , what I don't get is how can he anounce something like that on TV. Bought some anyway as a play on VST.

First of all, an aquirer always pays premium to current share price. Secondly, just the fact VST wants LFD, makes LFD more valuable. Also, the biggest chunks of insider buying, including PP, was done between $.30 and $.40. That makes LFD's current fair value more in the $.40 range. And let's not forget. LFD has a proven feild, if LFD was drilling today, it would be a $.70 stock ...more
