Vast energy,  Longford's sister company (If you will) was hit for close to a twenty percent sell down on the day I made that post.   Those market depth numbers I posted showed the deterioration of buying support for Longford which happened to coincide with the Vast sell down.   It looked like some traders were gonna try to knock down Longford  to about  .15 cents.   As it turned out, Vast energy recovered most of its losses and Longford's support  returned.  The knockdown of Vast to .49 cents from .60 appears to have been nothing more than an effort to hit stops and damage sentiment for Vast.   -With the aim of causing more liquidation before any news has come out.  (Hence the term bear raid.)

Thanks for the reply. I know what a bear raid is, I just dont see it in the chart you sent, but I dont have level 2 so its difficult to compare the bid/ask without a good idea of whats happened yesterday, or even today as far as shares go. The buggers did manage to cause problems at VST, one of my holdings, and it hasnt really recovered yet. Some have said that its a good indicator of better SP ...more
