Longford Energy Inc > Why 9 wells?

Why 9 wells?

Does anybody know anything about the other 8 wells? All talk is about the  4800 bopd well. Who drilled the others, they are in one line, why, what did they expect, how comes so much effort to drill and never any production. What happened with the other drills? Is there any information in older presentations maybe? Anybody help?
All idiots here talking about rockets and shareprices in the sky and compare with the megafind of GKS...keep away, you are soo stupid and primitive, even monkeys behaive better and having more mind.

1902 to 1906Chia Surkh wells 1 and 2. Both struck oil at less than 700 m and flowed 180 bopd initial production. The tested oil flow was from the upper formation where the leaked oil from the fractured reservoir in jeribe leaked into before the lower far shale swelled and closed the leak. 1906 to 1930Additional 5 shallow wells were drileld between 1906 and 1936 called CS-3 to CS-5. All tested oil ...more

Hi EOIM.  Thanks for the very informative post.  I invested in this company because I feel that there is significant potential just like any other genuine investor here.  Of course that potential is not without risk such political stability and operational performance.  This story will unfold in time and I hope it will be worth the waiting...

Key is that the 5000 barrels a day already discovered, proves the block is a viable oil producer.  Also everyone keeps ignoring, that 5000 barrels a day in 1936, could be more like 10000 with today's technology...  LFD offers the least risk of any KURD play right now.

I agree that LFD offers the lowest risk among all the juniors. I spoke to Investors Relation yesterday regarding the well test data for well C-9 and they are looking into my questions. Once I get answers, I would provide it to all.I am heavily invested in LFD more than other KRG junior plays. I own some WZR as well but I think LFD has huge upside at this very low market cap. What I found  ...more

So 8 out of 9 wells struck oil. Any exploration company would be overjoyed with success like this. Todays technology should be able to increase those 180bbl/d wells several fold.

Eoim!  Thanks a lot for your interesting answer and for sharing your knowledge! Great! I think these infos are positive aspects for this share.Just, it will be a long time of waiting before they spud. Many rigs arround are delayed. I am afraid we could wait a 6-9 month before drilling can start?

EOIM... I haven't noticed any reference provided for your Chia Surkh history.  I'm wondering if you've omittedanything about production performance,  that is,  how long did these wells continue to produce at initial flushproduction rates ?You wrote,Chia Surkh wells 1 and 2. Both struck oil at less than 700 m and flowed 180 bopd initial production. The tested oil ...more
