i would like to warn management
to abandon merger plot...........
it is hurting lfd.
why would potentially oil-rich lfd help out potentially gaseous vst?
lfd - oil
hoc, wzr, vst - probably gas
lololol

Sumeroil, stop all these your gibberish on merger. LFD and VST are not merging. The shareholders of LFD would have to vote if anything like that comes up. So stop festering this board with trash thoughts that doesn't make sense.

Why are you thinking in this direction? Could you provide me with any weblink where LFD management had discussed merger with VST.You should be talking about the drilling starting in April. That is the next milestone in our agenda and not merging. Let's discuss facts and not speculation that is lacking substance.

Ahmed and Stan appeared on BNN, something like a year and half ago, and Ahmed said something like, "VST and LFD should work to streamline operations in Kurdistan."After he said that, lots of people started jabbering about a merger. That's the origin of the merger talk; needless to say "streamline operations" does not mean merge the companies.

later that, he did specifically spit out the word "merge."i have long been opposing merger, just for the record.i think the ratio is set at 3 : 2.that's why lfd cannot go up unless vst goes up.and,....... vst drilling is much much delayed, and probably ends up with gas.that's why lfd seismic result is being delayed <- that's my guessabove is only my opinion.
