otherwise they would have released it much earlier.......

now, they have to wait till (good) vst drilling result.....

to maintain 3: 2 ratio.

they are trying to protect vst holders.



above is only my conjecture based on nothing but pure imagination, intuition, and instinct.

LFD has got nothing to offer for VST share holders.  LFD is the only company that hasnegotiated a 40% royalty... almost all the others only 10%.  The other company with more than 10%is VST,  but at least they were able to negotiate 15%.Think about it... LFD has a 40% working interest and a 40% royalty.  Doesn't leave much.

I think this just about covers it... they have less than a 10% chance of discovery leading to development.  They havea very awkward political environment to work in,  even if they do discover commercial quantity.  It probably comes down to who controls Kirkuk.Anyway,  if they do discover,  if they do develop and if the foreign companies are allowed to operate,  then ...more

they have less than a 10% chance of discovery leading to development. I think you have that backwards. They already know there is oil there from the 4800bbl/d C7 well. I'd say they have a 90% chance of development, which means I'm giving a 10% chance of the discovery pool being too small to develop.Everything else you said is pure crap except the 40% working interest and 40% ...more
