MESSAGE OF HOPE.....

Hello Everyone,

A personal disclosure from me.   I loaded up on LFD in the low 20 cent.   I did not sell when it was 46 cents and will certainly not sell at 33 cents.   I do not trade around the core either.  I am not short.  I have held a long position for a while.

What I can tell you is this.    Investing involves patience, tolerance and confidence in your decision.  You need to know why you invested in LFD in the first place.   There are those whom speculate and trade for pennies, much like going to a casino, there is no logic, no decision making, they just use LFD like a slot machine.

I do not gamble, I invest.  Getting a few tokens from a slot machine is not exciting for me.   I like to take the home prize, the first place.

I invested in LFD for several reasons:

a) LFD has a solid and proven management

Stan Bharti is a billionaire and brought Desert Sun Mining from pennies to $ 18 per share.  Stan Bharti is a genious, is serious and creates shareholder wealth.

b) Insider buying

The management team of LFD bought shares at 30 cents, then Ahmed on open market buys 500,000 shares at 37 cents plus, they have warrants to load up on some more in September 2011 at 65 cents.

c) Strong Institutional Ownership

LFD attracted funds from Soros.  Soros is a mult billionaire success in investing in stocks, in locating opportunities that create massive wealth.  A vote from him is a vote of confidence.

d) Historical drilling

Although historical drilling needs to be updated, it remains that LFD is sitting on land where the previous discovery was made of 41 API oil (commerical grades and commercial quantities)

e) Network support

LFD has the network support of all of the companies in which Stan Bharti is involved in, which include financing, accounting, management, driling expertise, financial reporting, etc... this network saves LFD lots of money and gives them access to experience.

f)  Miltary contacts

LFD has appointed on its board a large number of high profile miltary contacts whom were previously in Kurds territory and whom open up doors to politicians and the land.

g) Kurds government

LFD has the support of the Kurds government in signing PSC contracts, the people know where the oil is located and these same people are helping to tell LFD where to drill.

h) Soaing Oil price

A high oil price ensures that both Iraq and Kurds have enough money that will be split among themselves so that they don`t have to nit pick each other.   The huge $$$ value creates tremendous incentive to drill.

i)  Oil production in Q4-2011

Given that drill holes for LFD are shallow, it permits LFD to drill and become an oil producer in Q4-2011 generating cash flow for shareholders, no more dilution.

j)  Warrants

The warrants in July and September 2011 have not disappeared, they are still there and are a source of possible financing if LFD deems it to be appropriate.   Funds are there.

k) Chart formation

It is deluisonal to expect a stock to soar without a correction.   We had a huge rally 100% so a sharp correction was needed.   This is healthy as it ensures that weak hands are out of the way and, that a pending new rally commences.  We have a flag position which is the most bullish of all positions.

l) Middle East instablility

Sure the Middle East instability created a selloff, this is the negative side.   But on the other hand it has created a huge buying opportunity for those looking to get in.   There are always some sort of crisis.  If investors learned to buy during crisis situations they would be filthy rich.    This is nothing more than a STRONG BUY.

m) Nothing has changed

What has changed from 46 cents apart from price.   The response is nothing.   People sold out due to a bad dream or to doubt.    Drilling is still in place, PSC contracts will still get approved and we will still be Q4-2011 oil producer.  All these things remain the same except for one, which is, you won`t benefit from the rally since you were to chicken to buy or, to chicken to hold, so you gave your earnings to others.

Would anyone want to venture who purchased the 800,000 shares early this afternoon?

Did I mention I intended to double my position with a big thank-you?

We must say thank-you for good40, hhoc, maysteeler23, Eoim, and other handles.

Good summary of why this stock will take off some day. I did basically what you did and have buying in the 20's and 30's and put it into my TFSA and will probably more if it goes down some more. The TSX has been nosediving for the last little while because of all the uncertainity with oil and Libya and Portugal.   I watched this show last night on Warren Buffet and the annual ...more

Hey you know what, this was not a bad summary. Taxiboy makes some points and is more in his league when he does not try to explain/understand technical or  financial issues. As previously, when interpreting technical and fiscal issues, there has been evidence of  wrong conclusions because Taxiboy does not understand the industry; however, in this post he talks about "soft" ...more
