Quantum speculation!!!!
Hello Everyone:
I read the Sedar filings. It states that Soros disposed of 2.5 million shares. He still owns close to 25 million shares and with warrants his ownership is slightly under 20% at 19.3%.
I will give my two cents on this.
The move appears to be designed to facilitate some sort of financing or structure in future deal.
Soros sold 1.3% of his holdings which is peanuts compared to his investment, so why would he do this. He certainly does not need $ 250,000, if we assume they were sold at 10 cents.
So what could it be? Revenge for cancelled bought deal behind his back? No, if it was revenge, he would have sold it all.
The only possibility is that he was advised that any new deal requires him to be a minority investor, less than 20% otherwise he has significant influence and may affect decisions.
There was big volume today on the buy side. Even more big volume on the bid on level 2.
This tells me that we must be close to a deal.
