unfortunately the stock price is not saying buyout, even though they are "in discussions". to me the stock price is telling me that genel is going to participate in a financing in LFD, thereby providing the financing that LFD needs to drill and also giving genel a substantial ownership in LFD, so genel has effectively a bigger part of this play.   however the financing is going to be sub twenty cents per share.  so, not so great for current lfdshareholders.  but at least it would give a clear path to drilling.  basically a farm in and financing with genel.  i have no idea if this is true or not, but my sense is that is what the stock price is telling us.  oh well, we wait.
