Heritage Drill Penetration Rates

Heritage Miran West-1 was spud 21 December 2008 and reached a total depth of 2,935 metres on 25 March 2009.

 

This gives a drilling penetration rate of approximately 31 meters per day.

 

Using the above Heritage drill penetration rates; LFD should be able to drill to 1700 meters in approximately 54 days.

 

The first 2 LFD wells will be drilled and completed very quickly one after the other.

 

When LFD mobilizes the rig, they will contract to drill 2 wells, one immediately after the other.

The Miran west 1 well was drilled uneventfully in 100 days to 2935m. No high pressures were encountered.
