But if I Was HAYWOOD !

However; GENEL may desperately want LFD, just to stop another company starting early oil production in KURDISTAN.

Nothing like cutting the legs of all the other runners in the race; so to speak !

I have always said that LFD is a jewel in the crown; because it get you into production on short notice and get you cash flowing to buy other KURD players.

If I was Haywood; I would take LFD out just so nobody else could get into quick production.

If VAST drilling time is anything to by; then most players have a steep hill to climb.

Why spend 1 year drilling an expensive well and maybe find no oil, and then having to drill another just to fulfill the contract to hold the property. If I was Haywood; I would think this is a dream business hole; that people have themselves locked into. If I was Haywood; I would lock them in the hole and take LFD out of the game.

Anyone oil man knows LFD is a jewel in the crown.

GENEl  may come in with big guns and so may others.

Yeah, with Taq Taq, Genel is not actually interested in production but want to gobble up land.  And they have a big wad of cash in their pocket for that purpose alone.  I think they have no intention of messing around.  They don't want to risk a bidding war on LFD or on the Chia rights by making a crappy offer that the shareholders reject (assuming they plan to buy LFD and not ...more

Regarding the buyout would love to see all cash and anything over 25 cents is great and approaching 50 is a coup!  That said if they do a share based takeover we could see some interesting numbers. I could understand why they would do this as they would get a canadian listing as part of the deal and could offer a lower price with the carrot being an increasing genel share price once they ...more
