Meanwhile Behind the Scenes??

Away for a week, come back expecting a big corporate announcement and behold we are still waiting for clarification.

 

Interesting speculation on board about what possibly is happening or not? (Familar posters and new handles as well)

To me this has KRG DELAY written all over it! No one is going to buy LFD or buy the Chia property without kurd approval. This limits the tire kickers, possibly to a field of one.

Also Kurds will want a cut of any dollars changing hands. And they will take their time to decide. As June deadline to drill is looming very big now, a deal only makes sense with prior kurd approval i.e. $$$$$$$!

agree with your view on KRG delays. Keep in mind there was a deadline to drill by June. An extension will be sought by the buyer to ensure they can meet the minimum work commitments.  A deal will happen - just need clarity on the structure, the price and the buyer.  Love to see .40 share deal but with the trading activity, looks like market is expecting the asset deal which, after paying ...more

I agree about whats going on behind the scenes.  by the way, ill add this.  if i was management of longford and i wanted a particular outcome of the sale of chia, i would get the buy in from the one party that can make this a success, that is the KRG.  KRG can give a genel purchase of lfd full approval or disapproval. the krg could direct another buyer to buy chia, the krg ...more
