Just a gut feeling from me, but I say we end up seeing a 15 cent dividend to keep the critics at bay.  In that situation 20 cents is likely a fair valuation given that the deal is a couple months out, and due to the lack of trust with this management team.

as cinco noted, whether the dividend ggoes up depends whether those with the clout to move  it seen anything coming in fairly short order from whatever this Africa deal may be. The NR did use the word "preliminary", which doesn't inspire much confidence, but who knows any more: "The company has started a preliminary process of identifying potential assets for acquisition...

Hindsight is 20/20.  As I posted a week or so ago, I sold all my shs in Longford at 16.2 cents (usd) but had a gut feeling I had jumped the gun.
