They completed the testing of Tawke #16 and the well flowed 25,000 barrels of oil per day. This is a gusher!!

The interesting thing about this well is that it was drilled to around 2400 m (same depth as planned Chia Surk 10), and it cost only $7 million to drill, complete and test....................I mean $7 million only!!!!

As I said before if LFD management wanted to drill CHIA they could have easily completed drilling before the end of June 2012.  Money was never a problem.

Taxi; MONEY was the problem!!! Not the only problem, inept greedy management was also a big factor. These bozos threw the dice, expecting a huge discovery at Qara Dagh would facilitate a necessary financing for Chia drilling at a much higher sp. When QD bombed, they simply ran out of time and options. To imply they had other motives for not drilling, other than the win-win security of golden ...more
