How's oversold looking Steve? Not yet?
Comment by steveM45 on Dec 29, 2020 1:12pm
Technically, it's entered oversold territory today based on the daily, with RSI at 28 (under 30 is oversold, over 70 is overbought) as of this posting.  Need to assess after the close to confirm. This doesn't necessarily mean it bounces today as RSI values can go much lower, but it does increase the chances of a bounce during oversold conditions. If the bounce takes it over .21 ...more

Can't it technically stay oversold for a few days as well? I recently saw a stock drop from .74 cents to .52 (huge gap down) after terrible financials. Everyone was claiming oversold, it bounced between .52-.58 for a few days and now it's in the .40s so there was no real bounce and oversold disappeared from the days going by and the few cents that it went up. So could that scenario not ...more

It's not oversold monthly. Nothing supporting it till .14

Correct, and I just checked and N has never been oversold on the monthly or weekly as those would be sending powerful signals.

Also how does it work if nxttf hit .19 Canadian (.1444) yesterday, does that mean $n will have to or eventually will hit .19 or not necessarily? lastly, if it closes today at .19 or .195 what does that do to the TA or chart because we've never closed this low ... I mean we have in 2016 but not in the last 52 weeks. It briefly touched .195 last week but now it's sitting there. garbage ...more

Since NXTTF is quoted in USD, forex comes into play. It is indicative of, but not very influential on the Cdn price when the Cdn market is closed. Also, I prefer to TA stocks in thier home currency unless volume is signifiantly larger elsewhere, then I'd go with that. In N's case I see the Cdn price leading the way with the US ticker just following along based on forex equivilents. If ...more

End of Day Update - Not much has changed.  It did close oversold slightly (RSI = 28) with no significant bounces during the session, so the net support lvl down is still .175, then .155 Upside resistance remains at .21 then .235 Non-technically, like Random said...Jan will be painful due to tax loss sellers being shut out for 30days. January effect will lift many stocks in 1st qtr and I ...more
