mineralized Corridor

Perhaps the biggest point as posted prior is the new zone size of 6 km X 2.5 km. As per the original Factsheet on Laurion website.

LAURION is focussed on validating the existence of near surface bulk mineralization in Gold-Silver and Gold-Zinc rich polymetallic resource component which extends over a 3 km x 1 km area, which will validate the feasibility for an open-pit model.

Potential for 10+M GEOs potential (3km² ) – via stacked veins, in Gold-rich and/or Gold polymetallic-rich sulphides.

We increased to 6 km X 1 km in March 2022 Corporate Update - Focus on validating existence of near surface bulk mineralization over 6kmx1km area.

We are now at 6 km X 2.5 km for a 5 Fold increase from the 3 km X 1 km strike zone. It obviously may not translate to a 500% increase in GEO’s (Gold Equivalent Ozs) but if it did, it would be 50 Million GEO.

They said they are now going to investigate the potential of the Brenbar/Sturgeon River areas. Possibly extending it from 6 km to 7-8 km maybe.

I’ll happily take double. When this sells and IT WILL, it will be HUGE!
Having been invested starting at .11-.20cents since 2019, I am here for the long.
If investing was easy, everybody would do it; we, with the will power to withstand the changes, will ultimately profit.

That's absolutely right tuscanybound and consistent with what other members of this group, as well as Roger has posted. That begs the question of why, given that LME should be worth something north of $30/share on a buyoout, the stock price is languishing at around $1/share. It seems clear to me that the Board is not interested in releasing any info, or taking any other action,  that ...more

When you say $30 per share... can you elaborate on how you come to the valuation per share? Please show my your work haha because I have seen people throw around $14, $20 and now $30 and, while I like those numbers, I just don't quite understand how people are coming to them realistically. Is there detailed dudiligence on this or is it simply speculation?

Value is what someone is willing to pay! Historical amounts when gold was around 1200 per ounce was like 50-80 dollars per ounce. I could find the article again... lol but I don't want to. That is what good is for. If gold does what it.is supposed to do hear as the world economy crumbles, Russia develops the Moscow standard for gold and dethrones the London exchange.... I hear gold should be ...more

Definitely speculation! Are you kidding me? How could I be able to do "detailed due diligence"??? Based on the current shareholdings, on a fully dilluted basis, you need a BO price of at least $8 million to get to $30/share My sense of things based on all the info that I have seen during this past year is that there should be at least 30 million GEO. This is based on their statements ...more

I'll see GBR referenced frequently and they were bought out at roughly $200/oz. Their gold was around 1800m and not near the surface like ours Considering outstanding shares of 262,000,000 (not sure on exact number with recent PP) adding a premium for near surface: 10M GEOs x $200/oz = $7.60/share 10m GEOs x $300/oz= $11.45/share 10m GEOs x $400/oz= $15.26/share 15M GEOs x $200 ...more

I have done some research and math. GBR was bought for 1.8 Bill(cash and stocks in kinross), they had 8.5mill geo's to give them $211/oz. Considering that LME's gold is closer to surface and more affordable to mine that we are worth more. In the annual meeting they mentioned that it cost LME $175/m to explore compared to $600-$700 for other mines. That's 70% less. So let's say ...more

Question to the group...do you think the fact that LME is looking for stictly a cash BO has anything to do with the purchase price?  Hypothetically, for example if Barrick was to pay 50% cash and 50% stock, maybe they would give it a value of $300/GEO total ($150 cash + $150 stock).  But if it were to be cash only, then they might only offer $275 because of extra borrowing costs, using ...more

Common sense tells me that what you are saying is probably the case. In addition, an all cash deal limits the number of potential buyers who can compete. It will be interesting to see whether the Board ultimately wavers from that position. Ironically, I am sure that most members of this group would be happy with a part-share deal, especially if it helps facilitate "getting er done" ...more

Although unlikely, is it within the realm of posibilities that there could be a joint buy out?  Could two seperate companies each buy 50% of the company/property?
Comment by matlas on Oct 01, 2022 1:07pm
Certainly possible.

I have been thinking about this, maybe a Private Equity firm partners with a Mining Company for a buyout. Anyone know of any examples of such buyout in the recent past? This is what could be taking up time and holding up a deal.

I did a bit of research into DRA Global, and they're a company that comes in to establish mining projects and built ore processing plants.  They're responsible for a large number of big projects all around the world.  Although they've only been mentioned as being involved with the processing of the waste rock stockpile, I see their future role on the Ishkoday being much ...more

Or, a ploy aimed at showing producers like Barrick that they are not "the only gaime on town" when it comes to buying LME, so they better "sharpen their pencils" in terms of any offer.
Comment by DAM$ on Oct 05, 2022 9:47am
I think the true benefit of DRA's experience in mining production makes them a great fit to produce the economic study showing the cost of mining Iskoday. Not only do we have to prove the resources through the NI 43 – 101 but we need to show the cost of mining is $250 a ton or whatever it is that is going to make mining it not only feasible but more profitable than the average. This will drive ...more

Things are seldom what they seem, Skim milk masquerades as cream. –From Gilbert & Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore The thing is we don't know what is real here and what is posturing in relation to a buy-out. As far as 43-101 is concerned, if it were that simple, why would they be so coy, ambiguous and contradictory in connection with that in the Corporate Update and Slides. Furthermore, the ...more
