I would think that a company interested in buying Lme, would be allow purchasing stock at 30 before making offer for rest of company. As long as they did not break any insider trading rules I can't see why they could not. Why would they pay 5-8 dollar when a significant amount of share are avail at 38 cent.

I don't think it could unfold that way in a situation like this. For one thing, this is a very thinly traded stock with a small float. They could not buy that much without bumping the price. More to the point, they are not going to want to buy any shares without being sure that they get all of them, which mean making a deal with Cynthia et al first.

I think we are on the same page here LaurionLong. Did you or anyone else notice that the Stockhouse decription has now removed the wording that was recently added about "short term"? I am guessing that maybe the people who run Stockhouse thought it was maybe too agressive/promotional?? Presumably, not LME, since that still have that wording on HomePage.
