Think like the Buyer

Don't make the mistake of looking at everything we've learned in the past few weeks in isolation.  Instead, thing about cause and effect.  What would lead to the information we've received being delivered and can that be in the context of a negotiation?

Eg,

Buyer : I love the information on the strike zone, what work has been done outside the strike zone?

LME : Not alot, what would you like to see done?

Buyer : A magnetic aerial scan to confirm the formations you've seen in the strike zone would let us apply some portion of the drill info to the rest of the property.  Can you do that?

LME : Yes.

Buyer : When?

LME : Tomorrow

Buyer : How about the cost of extraction, any good news there?

LME : Yes.  Relogging the results and testing them against both magnetic and laser scanning techniques will let processing be at least 30% more efficient.

Buyer : According to who?

LME : DRA, the worlds foremost authourity on the subject.

Buyer : Good.  So if we want to start mining quickly, how do we get at the existing shafts?  Aren't they full of water?  How do we get at that ore?

LME : We have a fullsome plan to drain those shafts that is approved for operations with confirmation that the process will be effective and environmentally sound.

Buyer : Excellent!  So we want to get to production quickly, what about the lumber on the property?  That has to be managed carefully as it's valuable and important to the environment and surrounding Indigenous bands.  What's happening with that?

LME : a little group called the Ministry of Natural Resources is underway on that lumber and has been for a while.  They've made the Ishkoday an immediate priority.  The Indigenous leadership has been in lockstep with LME for 7 years and we have received support and contributions from many members of those communities from start to present day and beyond.

Buyer : Any intel on the non-gold minerals on the Ishkoday?

LME : we had every core sample relogged for exactly that purpose.

Buyer : by who?

LME : DRA, global leader in ore sorting.

Buyer : Are all your major shareholders on board with selling LME?

LME : I think so.

Buyer : What about your biggest shareholder, isn't he in the middle of the Pacific Ocean?

LME : No.  He's hugging the West Coastline and headed back to BC according to the pics on his Facebook page.

Buyer : Should we start to position this transaction with shareholders and potential shareholders by changing the language on the website to make it clear that a transaction is imminent and it's not on LME is someone sells shortly before a transaction?

LME : Way ahead of you.  Did that already.

Buyer : Here's 4 billion dollars.

Buyer : Here's 4 billion dollars. LME: Not enough. Matlas said we need at least 7.5 Billion  :o)

No DAM$-! Buyer: here is 4 billion dollars. LME: Oh, you only want to buy 50% of the shares?
Comment by Primpage on Jun 09, 2023 1:30pm
Buyer: great, here's 4 billion dollars. LME: that's a healthy deposit, you'll have access to the other 6 billion 2-3 months after sign and announce next week?

I like yours even better Primpage! Happy to share my Kool-Aid with you!
Comment by Primpage on Jun 09, 2023 2:04pm
Thanks for sharing! I've been sipping on your koolaid for a while now! It's tasty! But the more information that comes out about the property/company o believe it more and more that we see $30+. However, I try to keep myself grounded around $15.

You are welcome guy! As I have said before, if Cynthia was willing to sell for only $15, LME would have been sold ages ago. Have a great weekend!

Laurion Long, It seems your funny step by step process has taken a page from the slow and steady LME playbook. Very clever! I don't believe that the Ishkoday geological facts are sufficient at this point to generate the offer value that you suggest, but a rational investor would have to agree that any offer for the Ishkoday property would be well in excess of the current stock trading ...more

Time and money You are  predicting a "modestly disapointing deal" for both sides of the future purchase/ sale transaction.    I understand the buyer will only pay what they willing to Pay.   What are you predicting a disappointing deal will be.
Comment by Lambosntendies on Jun 09, 2023 10:38pm
I think using the words "dissapointing deal" may be the wrong use of words. Cynthia isnt selling for a penny less than the ishkoday is worth. Granted a buyer and a seller need to negotiate and ultimately find a middle ground in order to make a deal, that is negotiation 101. This is Cynthias 3rd time going through a process like this, she knows what shes doing. I dont think either side ...more

You are correct Lambos..everything makes sense what you are saying..why would anyone sell with all the positives, except daytraders trying to make a quick buck. By the way, my crystal ball was slightly tilted last week and is now working fine. Predictions coming before Monday opening bell. Cheers!!

Looking forward to it, All the more power to ya Blacky1! What does your crystal ball say about a buyout date?
Comment by Blacky1 on Jun 10, 2023 2:16pm
According to Corky, the crystal ball, buyout not ocurring in near future!!
Comment by matlas on Jun 10, 2023 3:11pm
Let's hope that Corky is as accurate now as he has been the past week!

i think cynthia is truly going to try and get as much as possible but my personal opinion is that LME is going to take a bit of a hit if they really try to move forward with an all cash deal. i think they will have to take a bit of a hit to actually have that come through, its a huge price to ask for all cash. a percentage is going to come out for that, but i think its okay to take a hit on the ...more

I understand gellometrics. For the average small investor, a part cash deal would  actually not be so bad. If they liked the buyer, they could obtain tax deferral regading capitall gain by retaining the shares of that buyer; if they don't like the buyer they could just sell shares in the market and likely not take that big a hit. I think the all cash deal is more for the benefit of ...more
