New SEDAR filing

Anything to glean from this, or is it just some general housekeeping?

It does not appear to have any changes of previous executive compensation Sedar reports. It just lists the stock options and compensation that were given last year.

I don't see that there is much to take away from this filing, however, I will point out that the directors were compensated considerably less in 2022 from the previous year. Let's hope that it's because there was a buyout in place and nothing for them to accomplish. Secondly, was very clear on the process of what would happen to the named executive officers in the event of a " ...more

Primpage I would have thought that the reason for less compensation might have been the fact that the widely anticipated BO did not materialize, much to the disappointment of many shareholders. I am sure that, had it gone through, the compensation would have been higher, not to mention the millions they would have made from their stock and options.

That's also a possibility. I believe they have a deal in place and have for some time now, but due dilligence would take 18-24 months and all the NR's since the annual meeting have been housekeeping pieces.  I believe that we are close and this may not be the sentiment of everyone considering the price is low, but it's where I'm at, right or wrong.  if I'm ...more

I am not buying that due diligence would take anywhere near 18-24 months given the data that is readily available to potential buyers and that much is available in digital form. I would have though more like 6 months. I think the delay is coming to terms on price and, depending on the buyer, arranging financing or JV partners.

I'm starting to think there are multiple interested parties. I do think there was a deal in play last AGM but something changed last minute, someone new? I think there are discussions ongoing but possibly at different stages and timing, could be tomorrow or who knows. If nothing happens in the next couple of weeks I'm expecting the in the fall, hopefully!

My 2 cents,   I also believe there could be multiple parties at different stages.  And they have been interested, and looking at LME  for past year or more.    Buying a billion plus dollar company is going to take time.   A lot of pieces to the puzzle.   Not like buying house.   Go look at it a couple times and deal is done.  Does any one know how long ...more

"something changed last minute, something new?" I am guessing it is the fact that they keep finding more gold and wanting more $$$, which the buyer did not want to pay.

The is 100% a factor with this company. Plus now that it's been cleared of trees, she's gonna find more dig sites. She's got a nose for the gold. More gold proven, you gotta pay up! They're not in a rush like us.
