Thinking this is another indication of crossing the T's?
Any thoughts?

business as usual my friend, mining companies gotta drill. hard work on the land from Cynthia and team has really informed and targeted this program so I'm excited to see the results    -Steve

Steve,  do you know or could you find out if there are any results from the channel sampling that Cynthia and the team have been working on since May? If I'm not mistaken, in some of the photos Cynthia has shared on LinkedIn it was stated that they've sent these samples for assay results. I thought maybe we would have heard some communication in some of these results.  ...more

Channel samples went to the lab in Thunder Bay but no assay results back yet
Comment by Primpage on Oct 04, 2023 8:54am
So safe to assume that the results from the drilling to commence on Oct 16 wont be ready until Feb/March?
Comment by StevenHunter on Oct 04, 2023 9:17am
sounds right

I checked back for drilling announcements and results from 2021 and 2022, and there wasn't a disclosure of who was conducting the drilling under the guidance of Laurion or Ronacher McKenzie. Could be nothing, or could be a purpose to disclosing this particular drilling outfit...

I think it's all they can do. It doesn't feel to me like there is an announcement close.  LME have operated for decades and then decide to engage with this PR position 6 weeks before announcing a buyout? It doesn't add up to me. I said it back at the time, Steven is here to keep emotions in check and manage the ongoing situation. That would not be necessary if an announcement ...more

I agree with you 100%  there are going to be a lot of sour apples around here when this doesnt convert before the end of the year, special committee or not. I have been invested here for several years and remember the last couple times this peaked around $1 with similar hype and speculation. They may know that the same thing happening again will dampen the shareholder outlook and so brought ...more

My friend last month you posted that you are extremely bullish on a near term close.  What has changed your opinion in less than 30 days?
Comment by Thebluestroy on Oct 04, 2023 11:55am
the order and timing of the news that has come out. Nothing more. I didnt expect a board member to resign, I also didnt expect another late season mining announcement after the formation of a special committee. Im always bullish and patience will be rewarded, but things can change rapidly and I dont want to fall into the hype and be disappointed....again

Fair enough!  Appreciate the reply.  My question came from a good place and happy you saw it that way

absolutely!

Good posts, all valid points. I am done trying to figure this out.  Everyone makes good points and i jeep getting my hopes up and then nothing.  Eventually someone will be correct.  As per my post last week, I was predicting a PR this morning.  I got the date right, but not the PR I was hoping for.  Oh well.  I have waited this long, I will wait whatever it takes now, ...more

Funny how we used to get excited about drilling announcements but now it’s like, don’t tease me with news releases unless it’s about the buyout.  Yes every example of previous special committees and buyouts had drilling and assay result announcements in the days and weeks prior to their buyout announcement.  No buyer has to come searching for us. They’ve known about us for years. If ...more

Amen DAM$, and that just deals with about half of the silliness in prior posts. In particular, they hired a guy to do PR just before they announced that they plunked down $250K to retain financial advisors because they knew that would be a failure and all for naught. Hence, they needed a PR guy to quell the masses. Makes a lot of sense
Comment by Thebluestroy on Oct 04, 2023 12:43pm
Anyone can spin any news in any way. That's why 99% of this is all silliness.
Comment by keen2know on Oct 04, 2023 1:27pm
I want you to be correct over anyone in here, believe me! But you do need to look at this realistically.  I didn't say it would be a failure, what I said was if the special committee was formed specifically to deal with an offer right at that moment, then there was no need to hire a PR guy because there would have been an announcement due any day. My theory is that the BO is further ...more

It would never have been "any day". Where are you getting that. There has been all sorts of info posted here showing that on average something like 6 weeks time of hiring financial advisor to announcement. The whole purpose of hiring a PR guy was to take the pressure off of Cynthia, so that she would not have to answer our questions when she is dealing with all different other issues ...more
